Featuring Kelly Purkey │ February release

The February shop update at Kelly Purkey Shop was last Tuesday so I wanted to pop in and share what I made before everything is gone. The Go, See, Do theme of this months kit is perfectly timed because my family and I are off on a vacation of our own as we speak.

Here are the projects I made this month.

I knew the minute I saw the Daily Cup stamp set that it was going to be the first thing I grabbed to create with. This spread is in my personal album that I am making this year. Spending the day chatting about all things crafty is one of my favorite things to do. My two favorites to do that with are Jen and Kari who also happen to be on Kelly's creative team too. I like to think of this us as the West Coast KPCT contingent.

The large Go, See, Do stamp is from the main kit this month and I love this stamp. And that little cluster of coffee beans, super cute.

I cut up a instax sized page protector and just attached it right to the backing sheet with some tiny attacher staples. I didn't have photos for the back so this was my solution to not have to fill the backside of the protector. I really love the espresso machine stamp from the set. The chemex was super cute too for all the pour over lovers out there.

My second project was made specifically for our vacation. I love to take notes when we travel, it helps me remember all of the details when we get home and when I sit down to make an album of the trip. This trip will most definitely get an album of its own and I know I'll need to keep detailed notes.

I paired some sentiments from the main Go, See, Do stamps and cards with some older stamps that Kelly had done for magical adventures.

I love the orange, peach and pink color ways of these cards, and while my bags aren't packed just yet, I'm definitely ready to go.

The suitcase stamp is so stinkin' cute!!!

When I sat down to write up my packing list so I wouldn't forget anything I added some more of the suitcases because I just can't get enough. I fell in love hard with the Departures alpha stamp set. I love seeing this particular element pop up in travel themed products. I've actually researched buying an older piece of a departure board for my home. One day I'll find just the right one and it will be mine. This stamp set is going to be with me for a very long time. I just know I'll be stamping all of my travel destinations with it for years to come. The fact that it also has numbers means it can also be used to mimic an old vintage flip clock when needed. Rad.

I hope your spring break has lots of travel in it and I can't wait to create lots of fun stuff when we get home from our trip.

See you on the flip side,

  2. Your projects are literally what causes me to purchase Kelly's projects!! Big heart-eyes for your designs. Question: on the coffee+friends layout above, what is that white brick paper! I LOVE it!!
