Featuring Kelly Purkey │ January release

The latest releases are live over at Kelly Purkey's shop and I wanted to share what I made with you. This release was a big one and the stamp sets and kits are so awesome.

This isn't really a stand alone project, it was a sneak image that I posted on Instagram before the release but I actually liked how it ended up so I glued everything down. It has little bits of the Addison alpha, Hustle and the Truth Bomb stamp sets as well as cards and stamps from the main Love Story Kit.

One of the things I'm most excited about making this year is an album just about me. I'll be sharing a separate blog post about this very soon but I wanted to share the spread I made for it using Kelly's new stuff. I used stamps from the Hustle and Truth Bomb stamp sets, cards from the main Love Story kit, and cards and stamps that came in the Currently Loving mini kit by Tina Azmus. I loved this mini kit! But I tend to love just about everything Tina makes. The card in the lower right corner of the ladies face is from ScrapEmporium and is not part of the kit, I loved how it paired with the black and white cards so I added it in. The pop of emerald green is my fave.

My next project was a travelers notebook spread. I really wanted to use the Addison alpha stamp set as a focal point and I couldn't let those little weather icons from the Today's Forecast stamp set go unused either.

This weather block is going to come in so handy for my pocket page spreads this year. I love the little phrases that fit inside the main block. The alpha stamps will also get lots of play purely because of the classic font and the smaller size.

I managed to use every stamp set this month and I really love how the sentiments can cross over and work together in so many ways. I hope you got everything you wanted make sure you tag your photos on Instagram with @KellyPurkeyShop, I check it frequently to see what everyone is making and sharing and I love it.

I'll be back soon with a post dedicated to my personal album.

Take care,
